Some things about VPN's

A virtual private network (VPN) is a computer network that is layered on top of an underlying computer network.

The private nature of a VPN means that the data travelling over the VPN is not generally visible, or is encapsulated from, the underlying network traffic. Similarly, the traffic within the VPN appears to the underlying network as just another traffic stream to be passed.

VPN's are convenient for many things as joining private networks with public computers (or from work !), giving access to your personal data. VPN's can also give you access to full anonymity while your connected to the internet.

This week, lifehacker presents a Top of VPN tools to use with your computer, helping you created, managing and joining your VPN's.

Perhaps you may need some already configured VPN ? No problem, a few weeks ago, we presented a list of the top VPN providers :

Please, don't forget to update those Tops if you know other VPN tools or providers ! See you on rankmill.com.
