2009 was probably a exceptionnal year for many things, including financial scandals. Forbes.com has then decided to end this bitter year on a bitter note with the creation of a Top biggest financial scandals of the year. The # 1 is obviously, and by far, the Madoff scandal. It could even be the biggest financial scandal of ever. Its scale is so big that even the #2, the Stanford Financial fallout, with 8 billions dollars of vanished money, seems "small" in comparison. #3 is the classical insider trading case, the Galleon scandal.We could wonder why in that Top appears the name of Tiger Woods. As far as we know nobody was crooked by that affair.
